# Navigating the App

QuizSolver Mobile is organized around **three main tabs** in the bottom navigation:

* **Chat** (left) — the conversational AI interface for typing or speaking questions
* **Snap** (center) — the camera-based [QuickSnap](/doc/quiz-solver-app/features-1/quicksnap.md) flow
* **My Profile** (right) — your account, plan, credits, and settings

## My Profile

The Profile tab is your control center. From top to bottom you'll find:

**Identity card** Your name, email, sign-in method (Google, email/password, etc.), and account verification status.

**Plan & usage** Your **Current plan** (Free / Quiz Pass / Quiz Wiz / Quiz Master) and the **Answers left today** counter — the remaining credits available right now.

**Upgrade to Premium** One-tap CTA to the in-app subscription flow. Tapping opens Google Play's native billing — see [Subscription](/doc/quiz-solver-app/usage-1/subscription.md) for plan details.

**Account info** Member since (account creation date) and sign-in method. A read-only summary.

**Earn free credits** The full set of credit-earning actions — see [Free Credits](/doc/quiz-solver-app/usage-1/free-credits.md) for the breakdown of rewards per action (Watch ad, Leave review, Invite friends, Share on social).

## Chat tab

The Chat tab opens [Chat AI](/doc/quiz-solver-app/features-1/chat-ai.md). Type a question, tap the **mic** to speak it, or use the **camera icon** in the input bar to attach an image. Recent suggested follow-up questions appear as chips below the latest AI response.

## Snap tab

The Snap tab launches [QuickSnap](/doc/quiz-solver-app/features-1/quicksnap.md) — capture, auto-crop, validate. The flow is optimized for solving printed/handwritten quizzes and worksheets in seconds.

## Settings

Settings is accessible from the **gear icon** at the top-right of the Profile screen. As of v2.1.1 the screen is structured in 5 clear sections plus a Logout / Delete account footer.

### Account

* **Manage subscription & credits** — opens the plan picker so you can view plans, upgrade, top up credits, or restore purchases through Google Play.

### Chat

* **Show sample prompts** *(toggle)* — display suggestions on an empty chat so you have something to start from.
* **Show prompt template chips** *(toggle)* — display quick modifier chips above the chat input ("Explain it simply", "Show steps", etc.).
* **Show follow-up suggestions** *(toggle)* — display suggested next questions after each answer. **Disable to save one API call per reply.**
* **Send on Enter** *(toggle)* — when on, pressing Enter sends the message and Shift+Enter inserts a newline. Turn it off if you prefer the opposite.
* **Voice input language** *(dropdown)* — pick a specific language for voice transcription or leave it on **Auto (device)** to detect it from your Android language.
* **Image source for chat** *(dropdown)* — where the paperclip in the chat input picks images from. Default: **Gallery**.

### Camera & Capture

Controls what happens when you use [QuickSnap](/doc/quiz-solver-app/features-1/quicksnap.md).

* **Default camera** *(dropdown)* — **Rear** (default) or Front.
* **Capture quality** *(dropdown)* — Higher = sharper photo but larger file. Default: Standard.
* **Upload quality** *(dropdown)* — controls the pixel cap on the image sent for OCR. Trade-off: higher resolution improves OCR accuracy but uses more data. Default: **Standard · 1200px**.
* **Auto-open crop after capture** *(toggle)* — skip the preview step and jump straight into the crop editor after taking a photo. Off by default.

### Data & Storage

* **Clear chat history** — deletes all messages on the server. Cannot be undone.
* **Clear local cache** — frees up device storage without touching your account data.
* **Reset settings to defaults** — puts every toggle and dropdown on this page back to the factory value.

* **Documentation** — opens [docs.quizsolverai.com](https://docs.quizsolverai.com) (the site you're reading).
* **Join us on Telegram** — opens our Telegram channel.

### Legal

* **About app** — version number and build details (Quiz Solver AI · v2.1.1 as of this writing).
* **Terms of service** and **Privacy policy** — the current versions.

### Footer

* **Logout** — signs out of the app on this device.
* **Delete my account** — permanent account deletion (irreversible — see [FAQs](/doc/quiz-solver-app/troubleshooting-and-support-1/faqs.md)).

## Quiz-solving history

Every question you ask is stored in your **Chat** history. Scroll back through the conversation to revisit past answers or copy text. Tap the **broom icon** at the top of the Chat tab to clear your history (this cannot be undone).
