# Dashboard

## Dashboard

The **QuizSolver Dashboard** at [quizsolverai.com/dashboard](https://quizsolverai.com/dashboard) is your central hub for everything account-related: managing your plan, tracking usage, downloading invoices, contacting support, and seeing notifications. This page walks through each section.

### At a glance

* **Account & Profile** — name, email, password, verification status
* **Subscription** — view, upgrade, or cancel your plan
* **Payment History & Invoices** — every transaction + downloadable PDFs
* **Statistics** — 30-day usage chart, request breakdown, attribution
* **Support Tickets** — create tickets, threaded replies, image attachments
* **Notification Center** — in-app bell with recent activity
* **Referrals & Rewards** — invite friends, earn credits
* **Email Preferences** — opt out of promotional emails
* **Delete Account** — self-serve and irreversible

### Signing up and signing in

Get started with QuizSolver quickly and easily. Sign up using your email and password, or connect instantly through your Google or GitHub accounts. Remember, activating your account is essential — you'll need to verify your email before you can use the extension to its fullest potential.

To return to your dashboard later, log in with your email/password or one-click via Google or GitHub.

### Navigating the Dashboard

The dashboard's main view shows your **last 30 days of activity** as a daily request chart, plus a quick summary of your active plan, remaining credits, and a feed of recent events.

Use the **left sidebar** to jump between sections (Profile, Subscription, Payments, Statistics, Tickets, etc.).

### Account & Profile

The **Profile** page lets you update:

* **Display name** — shown across the dashboard and on support tickets
* **Email address** — used for login, receipts, and password reset
* **Password** — change anytime; rotate periodically for security

**Email verification status** is shown in a banner at the top of the dashboard. If unverified, click the resend link in the banner — verification unlocks your free credits and lets you contact support.

#### Sign out

Click **Sign Out** from the dashboard or directly from the extension to securely end your session.

### Subscription

The **Subscription** page shows your active plan and gives you full control:

* **Current plan** — QuizKick (free), Quiz Pass, Quiz Wiz, or Quiz Master
* **Billing cycle** — monthly or annual
* **Started on** and **Renews on** dates
* **Auto-renew** — toggleable

#### Upgrade or change plan

Hit **Change plan** to go to the pricing page, pick a different tier, and complete the upgrade. Upgrades take effect immediately; the new plan replaces the old one and your credits are adjusted.

#### Cancel anytime

Cancellation is **self-serve**:

1. From the dashboard, go to **Subscription**.
2. Click **Cancel subscription** on your active plan.
3. Confirm — your access stays active until the end of the current billing period, then auto-renew stops.

Your remaining credits stay usable until the period ends. You can reactivate at any time before the period closes by clicking **Reactivate**.

### Payment History & Invoices

The **Payments** page lists every transaction on your account:

* **Date** of the charge or refund
* **Amount** and **currency**
* **Status** — paid, pending, refunded, failed
* **Plan** the payment was for
* **Platform** — Stripe (web) or Google Play (Android)

#### Download an invoice

Click the **invoice icon** next to any successful payment row to download a **PDF receipt** — useful for expense reports or tax filings. Each invoice contains the line item, your billing details, your VAT/tax info if applicable, and QuizSolver's company info.

#### Refunds

Refunds appear as separate rows with negative amounts and a *refunded* status. See our [refund policy](https://quizsolverai.com/refund-and-returns-policy) for what's eligible.

### Statistics

The **Statistics** page is where you see how you're actually using QuizSolver:

* **30-day daily request chart** — total questions asked per day
* **Per-feature breakdown** — QuickSnap vs Smart Highlight vs Auto-Detect vs Auto Form Solver
* **Request type distribution** — Solve vs Explain vs Translate vs Math etc.
* **Subject heatmap** — which topics you ask about most

#### Acquisition history (advanced)

If you're curious how you found us, the **Attribution** section shows every campaign and referrer that touched your account, in chronological order — based on multi-touch UTM tracking. Useful if you arrived through multiple channels (Google search + a YouTube video + a friend's referral, for example).

#### Clear request history

If you want to remove your tracked requests from the dashboard (this doesn't affect your credit balance), click **Delete all trackings** at the bottom of the page. This action is irreversible.

### Support Tickets

The **Tickets** page lets you talk to the QuizSolver support team:

#### Create a ticket

1. Click **New ticket**.
2. Choose an **issue type** — billing, technical, general, or other.
3. Write your message (Markdown supported — use `**bold**`, lists, code blocks for clarity).
4. Optionally attach a **screenshot** showing the problem. Images make support 10× faster — please include one for visual issues.
5. Submit.

#### Conversation threading

Every reply from the support team appears on the same ticket page as a threaded conversation. You can post **multiple follow-up messages** without creating new tickets — keep everything in one thread.

#### Closing tickets

When your issue is resolved, the support team marks the ticket as **closed**. You can still see the full history. If something else comes up, **reopen** the ticket from the same page rather than creating a new one.

### Notification Center

The **bell icon** in the dashboard header shows recent notifications: credit additions, ticket replies, payment events, product announcements, and global alerts.

* **Badge counter** shows the number of unread notifications (9+ if more than nine).
* **Click the bell** to open the dropdown — long messages wrap properly inside.
* **Credit notifications** display a distinct green **"+N credits"** badge so you can scan at a glance.
* **Click a notification** to jump to the related page (ticket, payment, etc.) — it's marked read automatically.
* **Mark all as read** in the dropdown header clears the counter without opening individual notifications.
* **View all notifications** links to the dedicated `/notifications` page with full pagination and history.

### Referrals & Rewards

Earn credits by inviting friends to QuizSolver. See the dedicated Referral Program page for how it works:

* **+10 credits** when a referred friend creates and verifies their account
* **+100 credits** when that friend subscribes to any paid plan

### Email Preferences

QuizSolver sends two kinds of emails:

* **Transactional** — receipts, ticket replies, password resets, account events. These are **always sent** because they're required to keep you informed about your account.
* **Promotional** — product updates, tips, occasional offers.

You can **opt out of promotional emails** from your dashboard settings. Look for the **Email notifications** toggle. You can also click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any promotional email — it uses a signed URL so you don't need to log in.

### My Questions & Answers

This page displays the table of all your queried questions and the answers QuizSolver provided, sorted by date for easy tracking and review. It's a convenient way to revisit past queries and reinforce your learning.

### Delete My Account

Account deletion is **self-serve and irreversible**:

1. Go to your **Profile** in the dashboard.
2. Scroll to the **Delete account** section at the bottom.
3. Read the warning carefully — deletion removes your account, request history, and any unused credits.
4. Confirm by re-entering your password.
5. Click **Delete my account** — done.

**This cannot be undone.** If you have an active subscription, cancel it first — otherwise your remaining paid period is forfeit. If you change your mind after deletion, you'll need to sign up again from scratch (a fresh email is fine).

#### What about my data?

Deleted accounts are anonymized in our analytics and removed from the active database. We retain a minimal record (anonymized) for legal and accounting purposes as required by law (typically 3-7 years for billing records).
